Exterior and Baggage Capacity
The Cessna Citation CJ3 is a popular choice for chartering due to its combination of comfort, performance, and storage. It offers two distinct baggage compartments, which allow for a total cargo capacity of 1,000 lbs. The forward compartment is designed for smaller items like backpacks rather than larger suitcases. The aft baggage compartment is larger and can accommodate a variety of travel essentials such as carry-ons, golf clubs, or skis.
Interior Layout and Cabin Features
Inside the cabin, the seating configuration is designed to comfortably accommodate six passengers. A seventh passenger can be seated on the belted lavatory, which also functions as a private restroom when needed. This versatile layout provides ample space for a comfortable journey, making the aircraft well-suited for non-stop domestic travel across the United States. Its capabilities allow for convenient transit between major hubs, such as flights from Los Angeles to Texas or New York to Florida.
