The Departure
The race begins at the office with a challenge between two team members. Kolin elects to fly private using an Amalfi Jets charter, while Josh attempts to reach Las Vegas via a commercial flight on Spirit Airlines. Kolin demonstrates the efficiency of booking a mid-sized jet through the Amalfi Jets app, completing the process in about 10 seconds. Meanwhile, Josh faces the standard requirements of commercial travel, including check-in procedures and security lines, while managing his own itinerary.
The Journey
Kolin's private flight offers immediate departure and onboard amenities, such as a fresh fruit platter and mimosas. He maintains a relaxed pace, eventually arriving in Las Vegas and heading to a supercar track experience. In contrast, Josh endures a longer transit time to the airport, a strict check-in process, and the inconvenience of a carry-on bag restriction which adds to his overall travel time. Throughout the day, both travelers stay in touch via video calls as their schedules diverge significantly.
Arrival and Experiences
Kolin reaches Las Vegas and enjoys various leisure activities, including a gondola ride at The Venetian and shopping, well before Josh arrives. By the time Josh finally makes it through security, lands, and reaches his destination, he has missed much of the planned day. The race concludes with a shared dinner where Josh acknowledges the efficiency of private air travel, leading to his decision to cancel his return commercial flight and instead accompany Kolin on a return charter flight. The video closes with both enjoying the comfort of a Hawker 900 on the return trip to Los Angeles.
