An international private flight with a minor can require extra documentation. In this video, Kolin Jones describes coordinating a Bahamas charter for a father and his 17-year-old son, including obtaining signed and notarized parental consent for the trip.

Transcript

A father booked a $65,000 Gulfstream G280 trip to the Bahamas to celebrate his son’s 17th birthday. Because the son was traveling internationally with one parent, this trip required a signed parental consent form from the other parent.

Coordinating the form involved an unexpected conversation between the separated parents. Once the document was signed and notarized, the father and son were able to travel and celebrate the birthday in the Bahamas.
