Learjet 45 Lavatory Overview
Kolin guides viewers through the Learjet 45 bathroom, emphasizing its functional design despite the aircraft’s compact cabin. The lavatory features a small window, allowing passengers to maintain a view outside during their time on board. Inside, the space includes a dedicated sink, various onboard control buttons, and a secured mirror.
Belted Lavatory Capability
The Learjet 45 is configured to seat eight passengers in captain’s chairs, with an additional belted lavatory seat to accommodate an extra person during flight. The video demonstrates the seat’s secure belt mechanism and how the door closes to offer privacy. Kolin shares a personal anecdote from a previous trip on a smaller light jet where he became temporarily stuck in the lavatory, noting that while the experience was awkward, it serves as a reminder of the unique aspects of private travel.
