The Amalfi Jets app allows members to view and book empty leg flights. These flights occur when an aircraft must travel without passengers to reach its next departure point, such as flying from Los Angeles to Las Vegas to collect passengers. Because these aircraft must complete these legs regardless, they are offered as discounted travel options at 60 to 80 percent off standard charter rates.
To book an empty leg, members navigate to the empty legs section within the app, select their preferred option, and submit a booking request. A team member then confirms the flight availability, and the user completes the booking process. The video illustrates this by booking a flight from Los Angeles to Oakland.
